Strategic View:
Vantage Data Centers has broken ground on the $15 billion “Lighthouse” project. Part of the Oracle/OpenAI Stargate initiative, this is a multi-party industrial consortium.

The scale of AI infrastructure is exploding. Vantage Data Centers has officially started construction on its “Lighthouse” campus in Wisconsin. A $15 billion investment, this site will deliver nearly 1 GW of capacity.
The project is part of the broader “Stargate” collaboration between Oracle and OpenAI. While Vantage is the developer, the capital stack involves a complex club of equity partners (likely DigitalBridge, Silver Lake) and future tenants. It represents the physical manifestation of the “AI Club” – where chipmakers, model builders, and real estate developers integrate into one project.
Why It Matters:
“Gigawatt Scale.” We have entered the era of the Gigawatt Campus. Only consortiums can finance and build projects of this magnitude. Single-tenant, single-lender deals are obsolete at this scale.
