Strategic View:
Luxury giant Kering is taking a 20% minority stake in Italian jeweler Gruppo Raselli Franco. A “Strategic Club” where the industrial partner secures supply chain access.

Supply chain security is the new luxury. Kering (owner of Gucci) has signed an agreement to acquire a 20% stake in Gruppo Raselli Franco, a high-end jewelry manufacturer. The deal leaves the founding Raselli family with control, creating a “Family-Corporate Club.”
For Kering, this is a defensive move to lock in capacity for its jewelry brands (Pomellato, Boucheron). For Raselli, it provides capital and the stability of a blue-chip partner without selling out completely.
Why It Matters:
“Vertical Integration Clubs.” Luxury houses are forming clubs with their best suppliers to protect craftsmanship. Expect more of these minority equity partnerships in 2026.
